Shriram majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to join the Peace Corps China as a college oral English teacher. After a few twists and turns, Shriram started his Master's in International Education back at the University of Pennsylvania. He now works at KIPP DC, where he taught Pre-K for the past 3 years. Shriram believes that his job as an educator is to help his students learn how to think, not what to think. And to understand, through experience in his class, that relationships and a sense of community are what bring meaning and purpose to our lives.
