Our mission is rooted in the belief that no teen should feel alone on their mental health journey. Inspired by the growing mental health crisis among youth, we aim to help more people understand mental health, find support, and feel seen.
At Climbing Everest, we create impact through small‑group circles that gather high‑school students for open, meaningful conversations about mental health. Each circle features a guest speaker, such as a therapist, coach, or peer, who shares insights and personal stories, followed by guided discussions where teens can reflect, ask questions, and support one another. These circles are designed to build connections and remind everyone that they are not climbing alone.
Beyond the circles, we award an annual scholarship to a Michigan high‑school senior pursuing a college degree in mental health or a related field, investing in the next generation of mental‑health leaders. More initiatives are on the horizon, including sports‑based circles and literacy campaigns, all crafted to make mental‑health support even more accessible and relatable for young people.
